Job Description

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that will challenge your skills and keep you engaged. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Settling customer shipments and preparing monthly claims: You will work closely with our operations team to ensure that customer shipments are accurately settled and that monthly claims are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Creating invoices and bills in QuickBooks: You will use your knowledge of QuickBooks to create invoices and bills for our customers, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Generating and emailing customer settlement reports: You will generate and email customer settlement reports to our customers, providing them with accurate and timely information about their shipments.
  • Verifying customer logs: You will review and verify customer logs to ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintaining filing systems electronically and in paper: You will maintain our electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring that all documents are accurately stored and easily accessible.
  • Communicating with customers and operation groups: You will communicate with our customers and operation groups regarding any shipment report discrepancies, providing them with accurate and timely information.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks: You will assist with other administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, preparing payroll times, and completing other office-related assignments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma with some college education and/or 1 year of office work experience: We prefer candidates with a strong educational background and/or relevant work experience in an office setting.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint): You will need to have a strong foundation in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Good oral and written communication skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with our customers and operation groups, both verbally and in writing.
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks: While not required, a working knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus and will be beneficial in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member: You will need to be able to work independently and as a team member, depending on the needs of the business.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: You will need to be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits
