Job Summary

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing client communications, nurturing important relationships, and ensuring seamless policy administration. You'll work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service, resolve claims, and stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities

* Support clients reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation to facilitate the claims process

  • Record policy updates or changes on customer accounts, tracking them in our secure system and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage
  • Assist with the renewal process and policy updates by providing competitive quotes and ensuring a smooth transition for our clients
  • Provide clear and concise answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, insurance policies, and carriers by regularly communicating with our industry partners
  • Review current clients' coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted
  • Communicate clear responses to coverage or billing inquiries
  • Process and document calls, emails, and policy updates in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

* Must have an active insurance license in Minnesota or be willing to obtain one within 30 days

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and follow up with clients
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred, but we'll provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset

Preferred Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in insurance customer service or a related field

  • Knowledge of insurance products, policies, and regulations
  • Experience with policy administration and claims processing
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
