Experienced Customer Support Representative – Sales and Account Management

As a key member of our sales and account management team, you'll play a critical role in meeting and exceeding customer support objectives, while also assisting our Account Managers in achieving sales goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Maintaining daily accurate and up-to-date understanding of the assigned Account Manager's travel plans and business activities
  • Processing, confirming, monitoring, and managing customer orders as they proceed through the arenaflex system
  • Communicating with all direct and indirectly assigned customers to the extent necessary to meet or exceed company objectives
  • Maintaining profitable existing customer relationships via the effective use of direct contact, indirect contact, paper and/or electric/electronic resources, as well as personal initiative
  • Developing and fostering a positive, collaborative working relationship with the assigned Account Manager
  • Scheduling sufficient time to effectively understand the business model, objectives, and anticipated product needs of all direct assigned customers
  • Quoting sales prices and credit terms based on the needs, goals, and objectives of our company
  • Presenting to existing customers marketing materials, advertising programs, new products, and value-added services
  • Handling and processing customer projections, invoices, warranties, and/or quality control issues
  • Collecting, disseminating, and storing internally, on behalf of the company, competitor information, market news, new product information, and related data as necessary to meet the anticipated needs and/or instructions of the company
  • Selling all products and processing all orders with attention to profit, volume, and value-added elements
  • Conveying price quotations to customers and preparing internal reports as required
  • Being aware of customer payment performance
  • Attending and participating as required in staff meetings, sales meetings, training events, and product seminars
  • Creating customer sales forecasts and project pipelines as requested by the company

Time Management

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be expected to:

  • Utilize available technology in such a manner as to maximize job effectiveness
  • Plan the use of time in such a manner as to achieve stated company goals and objectives
  • Keep accurate records

  • Dress in a professional manner that reflects positively on the company and on you as a professional

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Planning the use of time in such a manner as to achieve stated company goals and objectives
  • Keeping accurate records
  • Planning and preparing before each customer interaction
  • Properly maintaining and using company equipment and resources in a manner consistent with company goals and objectives
  • Dressing in a professional manner that reflects positively on the company and on you as a professional

Administrative

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Properly filling out and maintaining customer profiles, company files, order forms, and documents as required
  • Submitting the following in a timely manner: daily planner/call reports, sales plans for existing customers, forecasts, and customer activity reports
  • Submitting new customer credit applications on behalf of the assigned Account Manager
  • Being proficient in the use of computer programs and other systems to the extent necessary to effectively conduct business
  • Analyzing and monitoring data to the extent necessary to effectively manage customer accounts

Interaction within the company

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be expected to:

  • Comply with all company policies and directives
  • Operate within stated timelines
  • Develop positive relationships as well as communicate and coordinate effectively with all fellow employees within arenaflex and parent company

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must:

  • Be able to accomplish or possess the intellectual and physical capabilities necessary to be trained to accomplish all items listed in this job description
  • Education - High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma as a minimum
  • Communicate accurately and effectively in all standard business communication mediums using the English language
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. These skills will include the ability to calculate percentages, interest, proportions, discounts, circumference, and volume using readily available office equipment
  • Have the ability to solve reasonably anticipated general business problems including those containing more than one variable. Abilities will also include those necessary to carry out written, oral, and/or pictorial instructions

Work Environment

The work environment for this position shall include but not be limited to the following:

  • General office workspace(s)
  • Factory floor space that may include working near manual and automatic devices/equipment used in the manufacture, processing, packaging, storage, transportation, and conveyance of a myriad of products
  • Warehouse or other storage spaces that may be air-conditioned and/or heated, cooled (refrigerated locker), freezing (freezer locker), or ambient temperature
  • Ground and air transport equipment
  • Travel as required
