What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Customer Support Specialist (NPWT), your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing Exceptional Customer Support: Deliver top-notch support to patients, referral sources, and employees, addressing their queries, concerns, and needs related to Negative Pressure Wound Therapy.
  • Conducting Insurance Verification and Eligibility Checks: Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services and products, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Managing Initial Intake Processes: Handle phone calls, data entry, and paperwork processing with precision and accuracy, ensuring efficient patient onboarding.
  • Maintaining Quality Control and Accuracy: Ensure the highest standards of quality and accuracy throughout patient contact and data input, upholding arenaflex's commitment to excellence.
  • Developing and Maintaining Knowledge of Current Regulations: Stay up-to-date with the latest Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance regulations, ensuring compliance and expert support.

What is Required (Qualifications)

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent: A solid educational foundation is essential for this position.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Demonstrate your ability to work effectively in a remote environment and collaborate with colleagues when needed.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, enabling you to engage with patients, referral sources, and employees.
  • Strong Attention to Detail and Multitasking Abilities: Showcase your ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background Investigation and Drug Screening: Be prepared to undergo a background investigation and drug screening as a condition of employment.
