Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team, responsible for accurately and efficiently entering new orders into our system. As a key member of our data entry team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, working closely with sales and billing teams to resolve any missing information. Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- General data entry, including accurately and efficiently entering new orders into our system
- Assisting with all data entry projects, as assigned by management
- Managing our order entry email account, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues
- Communicating with sales and billing teams to resolve any missing information or discrepancies
- Entering new orders within 24 hours of receipt, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Performing all other duties as assigned by management, including data cleaning and reporting
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Data entry experience, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Basic knowledge of health insurance and medical terminology
- Experience working remotely, with a strong ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to type 50 words per minute, with excellent keyboarding skills
- Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Previous experience working in a medical system, with a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience working with electronic health records (EHRs) or medical billing software
- Knowledge of medical coding systems, such as ICD-10 or CPT
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools, such as Excel or Tableau
