The Role

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our databases. You'll work closely with employees and clients to collect information, identify errors, and ensure that our databases are up-to-date and reflective of our company's developments, updates, and transactions. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

* Gathering invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and information from employees, other departments, and clients

  • Scanning through information to identify pertinent information and correcting errors
  • Organizing information in a manner that optimizes swift and accurate capturing
  • Creating accurate spreadsheets and entering information into relevant databases
  • Ensuring data is backed up and stored in an organized manner for easy retrieval
  • Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered
  • Handling additional duties from time to time as required

Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
  • Proficient touch typing skills (at least 40 words per minute)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with database management systems and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Certification in data entry or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist)
