Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently capturing data into our databases, ensuring timely and error-free entry. You will work closely with employees and customers to collect information, identify and correct errors, and provide administrative support to the data entry function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform data entry in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Prepare information for data entry, including reviewing and verifying data prior to entry
  • Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including performing routine clerical and data entry tasks
  • Perform high-volume data entry work, including typing, faxing, and deleting data entry errors and entering corrections
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and established procedures
  • Train new data entry employees on computer systems and ensure they are familiar with data entry devices and procedures
  • Perform daily audits and data entry corrections to ensure accuracy and integrity of databases
  • Operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching data entry and verification duties
  • Review and verify data prior to entry to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Establish data entry requirements for each client and work with dealers to ensure data entry is accurate and complete

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and customers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and integrity of databases
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer software, including EMR systems and data entry devices
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a healthcare or medical records environment

  • Knowledge of data program techniques and established procedures
  • Certification in medical records or data entry
  • Experience working with dealers or clients to establish data entry requirements
  • Ability to train and mentor new data entry employees
