Key Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Specialist / Data Entry Professional at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Creating new cases in the case management software, ensuring accurate and timely data entry
- Developing and sending various required letters based on service type, determining the date for review by the Primary Reviewer (PR)
- Assisting the Clinical Nurse Reviewer (CNR) in obtaining additional information as requested from the client, and notifying the CNR upon receipt of the necessary information
- Maintaining effective communication with the referring party, including updates on any delays in service
- Scheduling cases, selecting the appropriate PR based on availability, pricing, and other relevant criteria
- Maintaining communication with the PR during the review process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the review service
- Adhering to policy and process requirements for all service types, including submission of required correspondence and documentation
- Accurately documenting all required case activities in the case management software
- Finalizing reports and delivering them to the appropriate parties after QA completion
- Accurately inputting PR cost and client charge for invoicing/payment by the Accounting Department
- Seeking advice from the CNR and/or direct supervisor as needed when performing assigned duties
- Protecting confidential patient information in compliance with corporate confidentiality policies
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications and Education
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and education:
- High School diploma or GED
- A minimum of two (2) years related experience in healthcare or a related field
Desired Skills and Experience
While not required, the following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
- Experience with case management software and other healthcare-related systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented and organized with excellent time management skills

- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a similar role
