Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, working closely with our data science team to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Cloud-based platforms, Big Data, and Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze large datasets

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
• Work with data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes
• Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients
• Ensure data quality and accessibility standards are met
• Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
• Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach for a given use case

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on Cloud and Big Data
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other relevant languages
• Experience with Cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark

• Experience with Data Visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
• Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its data challenges

Skills and Competencies

* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices

• Experience with Cloud-based platforms, including GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL and other relevant languages
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions
