Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Participant Services team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our participants through inbound calls, email, and chat. You'll be trained on our proprietary software and will have the opportunity to grow into other roles as you gain industry knowledge and experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound participant calls, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist participants with basic login assistance and website navigation, ensuring a seamless user experience
  • Identify calls requiring additional support and handoff to our main service team, ensuring seamless escalation and resolution
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and provide exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and product updates to provide informed support to participants

Requirements

* 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment

  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear, concise manner
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in using technology, including software applications and online platforms
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the financial services or retirement benefits industry

  • Familiarity with proprietary software and online platforms
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (English and Spanish, for example)
