Job Summary
As an Experienced Part-Time Customer Service Representative – Patient Financial Support, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, responding to their inquiries, and resolving their financial responsibilities in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with our revenue cycle team to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of patient financial matters.
Responsibilities
### Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Researches and responds to patient and customer calls, emails, and chats in a professional and courteous manner.
- Explains patient statements and financial responsibilities with clarity and detail, ensuring patients understand their obligations and options.
- Collects patient financial responsibilities and posts them to the applicable revenue cycle system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Updates and corrects patient demographic and insurance information in the applicable revenue cycle system.
- Sends requests for research to revenue cycle specialists as needed for claim resubmission or correction.
- Escalates true patient complaints and requests for team lead, supervisor, or manager assistance.
### Other Functions
- Work queue encounter resolution, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of patient financial matters.
- Performs special projects as needed, contributing to the continuous improvement of our patient financial support services.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management, supporting the overall success of arenaflex.
Qualifications
### Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum One (1) year of inbound or outbound calling experience in a call center, medical office/clinic, or institutional setting.
