Key Responsibilities:
As an Experienced Customs Trade Coordinator – Remote Data Entry Position, you will be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring accurate and timely customs clearance and trade compliance for shipments
- Processing and managing import and export documentation, including customs forms, invoices, and certificates of origin
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including shipment documentation and customs compliance data
- Collaborating with internal teams, clients, and government agencies to resolve customs-related issues and ensure compliance
- Processing and managing financial transactions, including payment and refund processing
- Staying up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and trade policies
- Performing other duties as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., international business, logistics, supply chain management)
- Minimum 6 months of work experience in customs trade or a related field (preferably in a data entry or administrative role)
- High School Diploma or equivalent (HS Certificate or GED)
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with customs trade software and systems (e.g., FedEx Trade Networks, UPS TradeAbility)
- Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
- Familiarity with export and import documentation, including commercial invoices and certificates of origin
- Experience working with government agencies and customs brokers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
