Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Promptly responding to customer queries via email, live chat, video, phone, and social media channels, providing timely and accurate solutions to their issues.
  • Immediately escalating serious complaints or issues that you're not equipped to deal with, ensuring that our customers receive the support they need.
  • Liaising with colleagues or managers to find the best solutions to customers' issues, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Identifying common problems and escalating them to management, along with possible suggestions for improvement, to help us refine our products and services.
  • Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional manner at all times, even in high-pressure situations.
  • Obtaining and sharing customer feedback with colleagues and other departments, ensuring that we're always improving our products and services.
  • Familiarizing yourself with new products and services as they're introduced, staying up-to-date on the latest developments.
  • Attending workshops and meetings as required, demonstrating your commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Providing training to new customer service agents, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them succeed.
  • Respecting client confidentiality at all times, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Customer Service Specialist Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or GED, with a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field being advantageous.
  • Practical experience with help desk software, such as Zendesk, and CRM software, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud, may be required.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, but not essential.
  • The ability to respond appropriately under pressure, demonstrating your ability to work well in high-stress situations.
  • Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills, enabling you to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • The ability to speak a second language may be advantageous, but is not essential.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to build relationships with clients, demonstrating your ability to work collaboratively and effectively.
  • The flexibility to work irregular hours, when required, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
