Job Summary:

We're seeking an experienced Chat Moderator to join our remote team on a part-time basis. As a Chat Moderator, you'll be responsible for maintaining a positive and respectful environment on our Discord server, enforcing community guidelines, and providing exceptional customer service to our users. Key Responsibilities:

* Moderate the chat of our official Discord server, ensuring that all users adhere to our community guidelines and rules

• Delete messages that violate our community guidelines and rules
• Ban users who have multiple and repeat violations of our community guidelines and rules
• Mute users who have violated our community guidelines and rules
• Investigate reports made by users about violations of our community guidelines and rules
• Collaborate with our team to develop and implement community engagement strategies
• Provide exceptional customer service to our users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Stay up-to-date with our community guidelines and rules, making recommendations for improvements and updates as needed

Essential Qualifications:

* Must be 18 years of age or older

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Familiarity with Discord and community management tools
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in community management or moderation

• Knowledge of community guidelines and rules development
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online communities
• Experience working with diverse groups and individuals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
