What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As an Associate Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting and educating members, providers, or customers on our health insurance products and plans through various channels, including phone, email, and chat
  • Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in responding to inquiries and resolving customer issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Documenting interactions and correspondence with members or providers clearly and concisely, using our internal systems and tools
  • Navigating multiple systems and internal resources to address inquiries efficiently and effectively
  • Maintaining knowledge of insurance terms and company offerings while working under direct supervision

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field
  • 1 year of experience in an office-based setting or contact center environment is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Technology-savvy, with the ability to navigate multiple computer programs and application systems
  • A private workspace and fast-paced internet with a hard-wired connection
