Key Responsibilities:

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions for our web and cloud applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that software solutions meet customer needs and business objectives
• Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development, and applying this knowledge to improve our software solutions
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and contributing to the growth and development of our team
• Identifying and mitigating technical risks, and implementing solutions to improve software quality and reliability
• Collaborating with our IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure
• Participating in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Collaborating with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of software solutions
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance software delivery and quality

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
• Proficiency in Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS
• Working knowledge of distributed computing, including Sky blue, GCP, or AWS
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality software solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties as needed
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
• Eligibility to work in the United States, with no visa sponsorship available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience managing a budget and leading a team of engineers

• Experience working on full-cycle software development projects, including design, development, testing, and deployment
• In-depth knowledge of business capabilities and business activities, targets, and methodologies
• Familiarity with JetBlue's IT disciplines and interdependencies, and how their needs drive IT strategy
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment, with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability
• Certification in software development, such as Scrum Master or Agile Certified Practitioner

Crewmember Assumptions:

* Regular attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and be available for on-call duties as needed
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance while working or traveling on JetBlue flights
• Willingness to participate in light cleaning of the aircraft, as needed
• Ability to satisfy security responsibilities, as recommended by JetBlue's Health Management Framework
• Ability to identify and report health or safety concerns, issues, incidents, or risks, using JetBlue's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Health Activity Program (AHAP) and Health Activity Report (SAR))
