Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our clients via live chat, email, video, phone, and social media channels. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Promptly responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalating serious complaints or issues that require additional support or expertise
  • Collaborating with colleagues and managers to find effective solutions to customers' problems
  • Identifying common issues and providing feedback to management to drive product and service improvements
  • Maintaining a polite, helpful, and professional demeanor at all times
  • Obtaining and sharing customer feedback to inform product and service development
  • Staying up-to-date with new products and services, and providing training to new customer service agents
  • Respecting client confidentiality and adhering to arenaflex's confidentiality policies
  • Attending workshops and meetings as required to stay informed about company initiatives and best practices

Customer Service Specialist Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field is an asset
  • Practical experience with help desk software, such as Zendesk, and CRM software, such as Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to respond appropriately under pressure
  • Sound judgment and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • The ability to speak a second language may be advantageous
  • A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, when required
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
