About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Chat Moderator to join our remote team. As a Chat Moderator, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and safety of our Discord community by enforcing community guidelines, managing user reports, and ensuring a positive user experience. This is a part-time, flexible position that offers the opportunity to work from anywhere and be part of a dynamic team that values equality and inclusivity.Key Responsibilities
- Delete messages made by users that violate the rules of the Discord server
- Ban users that have multiple and repeat violations of the rules of the Discord server
- Mute users that have violated the rules of the Discord server
- Investigate reports made by users about violations of the rules of the Discord server
- Monitor and respond to user inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the arenaflex team to develop and implement community guidelines and policies
- Stay up-to-date with arenaflex's community guidelines and policies, and ensure compliance
- Provide excellent customer service and support to users
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Basic understanding of community management principles and practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:- Experience in community management or moderation
- Knowledge of Discord and its features
- Experience working in a remote team environment
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and their features
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
