Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As an entry-level Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering customer and account data from source documents, compiling and verifying the accuracy of information, and applying data program techniques and procedures. This is a part-time remote position, perfect for those who need a flexible work schedule.
Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:
- Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
- Compiling, verifying the accuracy, and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
- Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking the output
- Researching and obtaining further information for incomplete documents
- Applying data program techniques and procedures
- Generating reports, storing completed work in designated locations, and performing backup operations
- Scanning documents and printing files, when needed
- Keeping information confidential
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent typing skills
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Reliable internet connection
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, additional certification in Office Management is a plus. We are also looking for individuals with experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field.
