Job Summary

We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. As a remote worker, you'll be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining data in various systems and databases. You'll also be responsible for verifying data by comparing it to source documents, retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, and maintaining the confidentiality and security of data.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested
  • Organizing and prioritizing data entry tasks to ensure timely completion
  • Compiling, sorting, and verifying the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Maintaining the confidentiality and security of data
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
