As a member of the Payments and Digital Strategy team at arenaflex, you'll be part of a dynamic and innovative crew that's shaping the future of customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to arenaflex's valued customers, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded. You'll work closely with various departments, including the Federal Reserve Bank and other institutions, to resolve customer inquiries and concerns.

What You Will Do

As a remote customer service representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Completing statistical access and balancing features to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions
  • Coordinating with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions to resolve customer inquiries and concerns
  • Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
  • Working member cases/sports assigned to ensure timely and accurate resolution
  • Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
  • Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
  • Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
  • Logging, studying, and making important GL, account changes and/or returns
  • Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
  • Completing daily balancing and department closing
  • Obtaining information from contributors for the timely and correct processing of international and domestic wire transfer requests
  • Researching and affirming incoming and outgoing wire transfer information
  • Communicating with vendors to facilitate wire transfers
  • Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming wire transfer laws
  • Depositing check returns, studying member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing wire transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing wire transfers
  • Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees

All You Will Need for Success

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school degree or GED
  • Intermediate Excel and Word experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
  • Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous customer/member service experience, banking or Credit Union experience, and Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience are highly desirable.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
  • Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
  • Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations and analyze data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
  • Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for interest to detail
  • Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
  • Must pass relevant arenaflex and Credit Union pre-employment compliance exams
