Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business and information science needs. Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and architectures to collect, process, and analyze data from various sources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business and information science needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with the data science team to integrate data and models into automated processes
- Design and implement data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure data quality and accessibility by incorporating data from various sources and adhering to data quality and openness standards
- Investigate current data technology conditions to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore and recommend new tools and technologies to meet the needs of the business and information science
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in programming languages
- 5+ years of experience with SQL and Python
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, with a preference for Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and its data management needs
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
