Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately entering and updating patient OASIS information into the Epic EMR system, ensuring the integrity and completeness of the data. Your key responsibilities will include:

Data Entry and Maintenance

+ Accurately enter patient demographics, OASIS recommendations, and other relevant information into the Epic EMR system. + Update and maintain client turnaround time + Ensure data accuracy and completeness

Epic EMR Utilization

+ Navigate and utilize the Epic EMR system proficiently to perform data entry tasks. + Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Epic EMR data entry. + Collaborate with IT support for system-related concerns.

Quality Assurance

+ Conduct regular audits of OASIS records to ensure data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. + Identify and correct discrepancies or errors in OASIS reviews versus OASIS entries.

Communication

+ Collaborate with Team Manager, Scheduler, and other team members to ensure performance and processes are effective. + Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to address data-related queries.

Adherence to Policies and Procedures

+ Follow established protocols and procedures for data entry and record maintenance. + Stay updated on changes and updates to Epic EMR functionalities and incorporate them into daily tasks.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Proven experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare or home health setting.
• Epic EMR Proficiency: Willingness to gain proficiency in using the Epic EMR system is required.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Communication Skills: Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
