Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and contribute to the development of our content portfolio and promotional strategies. As a Data Analyst, you'll be responsible for applying advanced analytical techniques to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth. Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced analytical techniques (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to inform business decisions and drive growth
- Analyze customer behavior (e.g., viewing patterns, engagement metrics) to identify untapped customer needs and untapped content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release processes
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate significant results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python
- Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, regression, clustering, and more
- Proven ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Exceptional data storytelling skills through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
- Passion for media and entertainment
