Responsibilities

As a Health Insurance Customer Service Representative at Arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and care, ensuring that every customer interaction is a positive and memorable experience.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and technical support, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Managing customer accounts and assisting with application data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as needed, providing prompt and helpful assistance to customers.
  • Following established procedures and policies to resolve issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to address customer needs, thinking outside the box to find innovative solutions.
  • Adapting to changing projects and updates with flexibility, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Balancing multiple tasks and managing time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing with a focus on passing required exams, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
  • Adhering to communication guidelines across all channels, ensuring consistency and professionalism in all customer interactions.

Requirements

To be successful as a Health Insurance Customer Service Representative at Arenaflex, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s.
  • Have a dedicated, private, and secure workspace.
  • Have a personal laptop or desktop computer required for the training period.
  • Commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period.
  • Be able to pass a background check and health screening.
  • Have cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired Ethernet connection (mobile internet service providers and satellite are not compatible).
  • Have an Ethernet connection that is a wired connection, not Wi-Fi.

Compensation

As a Health Insurance Customer Service Representative at Arenaflex, you will be rewarded with:

  • Base Pay: $14.50 per hour.
  • Enhanced Rate: Up to $16.00 per hour based on attendance and performance.
  • Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour.
  • Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: Up to $17.00 per hour based on attendance and performance.

Preferred Experience

While not required, previous experience in customer or technical support roles, familiarity with group and/or individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act, experience in a call center, knowledge of CRM systems and practices, and Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
