What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering Incoming Customer Live Chats: Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to website navigation, services, and other topics in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluating Customer Interactions: Assess customer interactions to identify areas for improvement and escalate complex issues to the Online Chat Manager as necessary.
  • Building Customer Relationships: Develop strong relationships with new customers, understand their needs, and provide personalized support to enhance their experience.
  • Providing Administrative Support: Assist the customer service team with administrative tasks, such as data entry, reporting, and team collaboration, as needed.
  • Managing Multiple Tasks: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications)

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: A proven track record of providing exceptional customer service, either in a call center, retail, or other customer-facing environment.
  • Strong Telephone Etiquette: Excellent communication skills, including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with CRM Tools: Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools, including data entry, reporting, and team collaboration.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
