Job Summary

As a Customer Service Agent, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our passengers, handling ticketing and baggage registration, and ensuring a smooth and efficient travel experience. This part-time role requires a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Welcome and assist passengers with ticketing and baggage registration processes

  • Utilize a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets
  • Manage the registration cycle, ensuring passengers have the necessary documentation for travel
  • Label and handle baggage, performing lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to transportation lines
  • Practice security-conscious behaviors in all operational cycles and procedures
  • Use computers to assist passengers with seat availability, door declarations, flight status, checking and handling baggage, and managing and starting the loading process
  • Work to prepare aircraft for departure, lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors
  • Practice health-conscious behaviors in all operational cycles and procedures
  • Work reliably in open areas and have the ability to understand and answer various questions about travel information
  • May be responsible for accompanying unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift packs or items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to lift packs or items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills using proper grammar, tone, and expression
  • Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated commitment to protecting personal and sensitive information
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals, thinking, and styles
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, of self and others

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in customer service or a related field

  • Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Experience working in a similar environment, such as an airport or travel industry
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
