Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional financial service support to our clients, facilitating consumer loan approvals, managing payment solutions, and addressing client inquiries effectively. This is a remote position, with a one-week onsite training session during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with clients both as an initiator and responder of calls to discuss financial products, services, and arrangements.
  • Diligently documenting all client interactions and transactions, ensuring all data is accurately captured for future reference.
  • Utilizing basic business math to address and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Communicating effectively, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all verbal interactions.
  • Maintaining sensitivity, tact, and professionalism under all circumstances, fostering positive client relations.
  • Adhering strictly to legal and company guidelines, enhancing the integrity and operation of our services.
  • Processing payments meticulously, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Evaluating loan applications using detailed analysis through advanced software tools to determine applicant eligibility.
  • Keeping clients informed throughout the loan application process, ensuring they understand all aspects and obligations.
  • Staying informed of the latest trends and updates in financial services to enhance client interaction and service delivery.
  • Multi-tasking effectively, managing conversations and documentation simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication.
  • Proven ability to manage stress and maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet applications.
  • High school diploma or GED; further education or certification in financial services is a plus.

Preferred Skills

While not required, experience in a financial service environment, especially in loan processing or customer service, is a plus. Advanced technical skills, including cloud-based systems and multiple banking software, are also desirable.

Working Conditions

This role requires sitting and operating a computer for extended periods. The position is remote, following a one-week onsite training session during standard business hours.
