Job Summary

As a Shipping Clerk at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for accepting and processing deliveries, verifying packages, and preparing them for shipping. You'll work closely with our team to ensure that all shipments are accurately processed, and our customers receive their orders on time. Key Responsibilities

* Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt

• Pack or unpack a wide variety of items into or from cartons, boxes, or similar containers upon request
• Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged
• Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price, etc.)
• Contact supervisor if a mistake is identified
• Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
• Ensure invoices are signed and paid for satisfactory deliveries
• Maintain accurate records
• Pick-up parcels from local stores
• Prepare packages for shipping
• Process all company shipments with required paperwork including shipping labels

Requirements

* Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data

• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
• Basic math and recording abilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Great communication and interpersonal abilities
• Keen eye for detail
• High school diploma
• Able to read, write, and speak English
• Works well independently as well as with a team

Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

* Professional interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficiency in using office automation systems
• Proficiency in writing and preparing memorandums and project papers
• Knowledge of Postal Service requirements and codes
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
