Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Financial Statement Preparation and Review:
Aid in the preparation and review of general ledger accounts and month-end close cycle related to corporate accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany transactions, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Plan and review compromises for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analysis to identify areas for improvement.
Intercompany Accounting:
Review intercompany accounts, resolve any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments.
Related Party Transactions:
Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analysis to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with the Substance Money, Legal, and other teams within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation and collaborate with the Supervisor, Corporate Accounting on ad-hoc projects.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of Hulu's financial statements through the planning of financial schedules and references.
Research and Development:
Research technical accounting questions and develop accounting memoranda to report changes in accounting treatment.
Audit Support:
Assist in the management of internal and external audits by responding to requests and planning status meetings.
Essential Qualifications:

3+ years of accounting experience:
Proven experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Technical Skills:
High-level working knowledge of Microsoft business suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
A team-oriented perspective, with a strong desire to collaborate and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

SAP Experience:

Experience in the entertainment or technology industry, with a strong understanding of financial reporting requirements and accounting standards.
CPA License:
