Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative I, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to arenaflex customers, handling calls and customer contacts with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintaining high call productivity and quality scores, exceeding minimum standards
  • Acquiring and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of arenaflex's retail, online banking, mortgage, and business products
  • Furnishing prompt, efficient, and accurate service while servicing customer inquiries
  • Demonstrating excellent communication and active listening skills, ensuring that customers receive an exceptional level of service
  • Handling customer inquiries efficiently and effectively, resolving issues in a timely manner
  • Cross-selling financial services and products to customers, identifying opportunities to enhance their banking experience
  • Adhering to and complying with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering
  • Adhering to arenaflex policies and procedures, completing required training, and identifying and reporting suspicious activity

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of call center experience, preferably in retail banking products and/or residential loans
  • Strong computer knowledge and good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, particularly strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Good typing, spelling, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively through email
  • Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Knowledge of retail banking products and services
  • Familiarity with online banking platforms and mortgage products
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding customer service metrics and quality standards
