Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Part-Time Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our Help Desk team. As a Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through timely and effective communication. This is a permanent part-time opportunity with flexible hours, offering a starting pay of up to $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process customer requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or online chat

  • Open and submit tickets into our ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Review each open ticket to determine the outcome and coordinate with customers as needed
  • Email responses to customers to ensure they receive timely updates and exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket status
  • Collaborate with Help Desk technicians to resolve complex technical issues and provide support as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer is preferred

  • Excellent typing skills (at least 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with ticketing systems and Help Desk software

  • Knowledge of technical support principles and procedures
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Certification in customer service or technical support (e.g., CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation)
