Responsibilities

As a Phone & Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  • Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
  • Identifying customer needs, clarifying information, researching solutions, and providing alternatives to meet their needs
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide solutions
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Navigating online systems efficiently to access customer information and resolve issues
  • Working with customers to resolve requests and records, ensuring that their needs are met and their experience is positive
  • Skilledly transitioning between tasks without compromising efficiency or composure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring that our team is always ready to serve
  • Remaining positive and professional in all customer interactions, providing a warm and welcoming experience for every caller

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
  • Technical savvy, with the ability to navigate online systems and software with ease
  • Previous remote work from home experience is a plus, but not required
  • Quick learning skills and the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws, ensuring that our team is safe and secure
