Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for managing order processing for customers using proprietary order-entry systems. You will work closely with customers, sales reps, and sales management over the phone and via email to address their queries, provide product information, and resolve issues promptly. Your strong organizational and time management abilities will enable you to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing order processing for customers using proprietary order-entry systems
  • Working with customers, sales reps, and sales management over the phone and via email to address their queries, provide product information, and resolve issues promptly
  • Handling incoming calls and emails from customers, addressing their queries, and providing product information and resolving issues promptly
  • Working with our technical support and collection personnel to expedite orders and resolve customer problems
  • Processing purchase orders and order restock of inventory
  • Ensuring timely and accurate order processing
  • Maintaining relationships, gathering feedback, and following up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Answering pricing and product inquiries
  • Executing contract maintenance and informing customers of pricing contract changes
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Your excellent follow-up skills, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation will enable you to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues. Some of the essential qualifications for this role include:

  • Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner
  • Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, preferred
  • Great follow-up skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Effective working in teams to achieve the department's objectives
  • Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (i.e., consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct)
