Location: Camuy, PR Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hourly Summary: This position is responsible for the planning and purchasing of all raw material that support production of manufacturing areas. This position will manage selecting suppliers to ensure on time delivery at competitive pricing while managing inventory levels to prevent shortages and maximize turns. Essential Functions: Schedule and oversee the supply and delivery of materials, coordinating with the logistics team. Ensure a consistent and adequate supply of materials, maintaining minimum safety stock levels and addressing shortages. Track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends. Maintain the integrity of Bills of Material (BOM) and monthly inventory levels. Balance raw material purchasing to meet the production plan. Request standard documents from suppliers. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers. Provide exceptional customer service and timely information about products and availability. Collaborate with Production to ensure inventory aligns with Material Resource Planning requirements. Conduct research for raw goods as needed. Analyze MRP system messages and place orders promptly. Adhere to company quality system policies, procedures, and instructions. Work with Inventory Management to ensure inventory accuracy and align with cash flow requirements. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts. Source new material supplier. Motivated by achievement and persist until the goal is reach. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to work under pressure environment. Efficient time management skills. Extremely accurate in the maintenance of records. Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Databases, Outlook, Power Point and Internet. Requirements: BBA degree Iin Business Administration Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing or similar position. Bilingual. Fluent spoken Spanish and English. Able and willing to work necessary hours to meet all project deadlines, travel when necessary.
