Job Summary

As a Work from Home Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our databases. You'll be responsible for inputting, updating, maintaining, and retrieving data from various sources, including paper formats, customer-provided information, and electronic files. Key Responsibilities

* Inputting data from paper formats into computer files or database systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness

  • Typing in data provided directly from customers, with a focus on speed and accuracy
  • Creating spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes, using advanced formulas and functions
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Updating existing data, including adding, modifying, or deleting records as needed
  • Retrieving data from the database or electronic files as requested, using advanced search and filtering techniques
  • Performing regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost or misplaced
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues and improve processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position, with a strong track record of accuracy and productivity

  • Fast typing skills, with a minimum of 60 words per minute; knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic understanding of databases, including data modeling and querying
  • Good command of English both oral and written, with excellent customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision
  • High school degree or equivalent, with a strong academic record

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in data entry or equivalent position, with a strong track record of success

  • Experience with data management software, including database management systems and data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a strong focus on self-motivation and discipline
