What to Expect: Job Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Coordinator at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and resolving up to 60 calls daily in a fast-paced call center environment
  • Communicating directly with patients, affiliate partners, payers, and healthcare providers to address their concerns and provide solutions
  • Collecting payments and providing guidance on payment options for outstanding balances
  • Updating patient accounts with new or corrected information and requesting itemized statements
  • Explaining medical bills and clarifying patient financial responsibilities, including deductibles and copays

What's Required: Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience, with a preference for 2 years in medical billing and direct patient contact in a call center
  • Technical proficiency in relevant systems and software
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity with sound judgment

How to Stand Out: Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you a strong candidate:

  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish
  • Experience with insurance billing and medical terminology
