Job Summary

As an External Support Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to content teams, creating reference materials, and collaborating with our internal development team to resolve issues and improve our content tools and workflows. Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support to content teams, addressing their questions, concerns, and issues related to our content tools and workflows

  • Create comprehensive reference materials, user guides, and training programs to help external teams get up to speed with our toolset
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with tools and workflows, working closely with our internal development team to resolve complex problems
  • Escalate critical issues to our tool development team and collaborate with production to track and resolve these issues in JIRA
  • Advocate for tools and workflow improvements, gathering feedback from external teams and presenting recommendations to our internal development team
  • Partner with other engineers to develop innovative tools and processes that enhance efficiency and quality
  • Facilitate cross-disciplinary discussions to drive feature development from concept to completion
  • Demonstrate exceptional reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Proven experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices
  • Familiarity with C# code and ability to read and understand it
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience working with external partners and stakeholders
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with Unity 3D game and tool development, iOS and Android mobile development, and Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software

  • 5+ years of experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with cloud-based services, such as AWS or Azure
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes

Compensation and Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $325,000, depending on your location, job family, background, skills, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) matching program.
