Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Transportation department, you'll play a critical role in helping us navigate the complexities of logistics and transportation. Key Responsibilities
As an Industrial Engineering and Transportation Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Assisting the H.L. Transportation Fleet with data entry, analysis, and reporting
* Collaborating with managers to identify and prioritize business needs, and developing strategies to address them
* Integrating multiple data sources across various database platforms to provide insights and recommendations
* Building, creating, and maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets to support business operations
* Providing data-driven insights to inform transportation and logistics decisions
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Previous experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization
* Familiarity with Microsoft Access, with experience in database management and data integration
* Strong typing and 10-key skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with a bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., logistics, business administration, or computer science) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
* Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
* Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
* Experience working in a team environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills
