Job Summary
As an Experienced Data Science Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement strategic insights and business growth initiatives. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and drive business outcomes. Your expertise in data science, analytics, and leadership will be essential in helping us achieve our goals and stay ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic insights and business growth initiatives using data science and analytics
- Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external partners to drive business growth and strategic insights
- Stay up-to-date with new data science and analytics approaches and innovations
- Design and implement data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate insights and business outcomes
- Develop and manage budgets for data science and analytics initiatives
- Oversee the development and implementation of data science and analytics processes and procedures
- Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation within the data science team
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of data science team members
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline (e.g., computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering)
- At least 2 years of experience in data science and analytics, with a focus on business growth and strategic insights
- Proven experience in leading high-performing teams and developing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Strong expertise in data science and analytics tools and technologies, including SQL, R, Python, Hadoop, SAS, SPSS, and other relevant tools
- Experience working with large datasets and developing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications
* Advanced degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline (e.g., master's or Ph.D.)
- Experience collaborating at the executive level and driving cross-functional teams
- Experience developing and implementing data science and analytics processes and procedures
- Strong expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience working with cloud-based data science and analytics platforms
