Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing enrollment and membership data, resolving issues, and providing exceptional customer service to our members. This is a SMART position that requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions. Key Responsibilities

* Accurately and efficiently process enrollment and membership data, including adding dependents, updating coverage, calculating premiums, and uploading correct information

  • Resolve issues and answer questions from members in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow multi-step directions and navigate multiple programs and systems, including QNXT (our primary system for processing claims and data entry)
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and make informed decisions
  • Work independently in a virtual environment, with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and share knowledge and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field
  • Proficient in computer skills, including typing (40 wpm) and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with QNXT or similar systems a plus
  • Ability to pass a required assessment within the training period
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
  • Comfortable with remote computer learning and willing to learn new systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in healthcare, specifically billing and enrollment

  • Previous experience in a remote work environment
  • Familiarity with QNXT and other healthcare-related systems
  • Certification in a related field, such as medical billing or coding
