Job Description

As a Chat Moderator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for maintaining the integrity and quality of our online community. Your primary duties will include:

Monitoring and moderating chat conversations

to ensure compliance with our community guidelines and rules

Deleting messages

that violate our community standards, including but not limited to: + Hate speech or discriminatory language + Harassment or bullying + Spam or self-promotion + Inappropriate content or links

Banning users

who repeatedly violate our community rules, after thorough investigation and review

Muting users

who have violated our community rules, to prevent further disruption

Investigating reports

from users about potential rule violations, and taking necessary action

Collaborating with our team

to develop and implement community guidelines and policies

Providing excellent customer service

to users, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

Age:

18 years or older

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience in community management, moderation, or customer service

Skills:

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills + Familiarity with Discord and online community management tools + Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Personal qualities:

+ Empathy and understanding of diverse perspectives + Strong sense of fairness and justice + Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
