Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on our various platforms. You'll work closely with our data team to gather and verify information, and collaborate with our content creators to develop engaging storylines and narratives. This is a part-time position that requires a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information on our various platforms, including television broadcasts, digital media, and social channels

• Work in individual settings and in groups to convey exact detailed breakdown, clock-and-score, and different measurements and information continuously that power a large number of arenaflex items and creations
• Create and maintain a working knowledge of arenaflex's role in fueling our digital and television products
• Check the results of one's own work and that of others; perform with a reliably high level of quality and attention to detail
• Contribute to the development of new ideas, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders in coordinating full- and part-time staff
• Anticipate potential issues, both short-term and long-term, and propose possible solutions; communicate rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these issues
• Play an active role in working with colleagues to create or refine production processes
• Participate in team and division meetings, and seek and respond to feedback on personal performance
• Stay up-to-date on current office policies and procedures

Required Capabilities

* Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and rules

• Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives arenaflex's digital and television products
• Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances
• Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often in the midst of a busy newsroom

Preferred Capabilities

* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in media

• Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes
• Working knowledge of arenaflex products and productions
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
• Experience leading or training a team
• Ability to speak and write Spanish
• Experience using social media in a business or news context

Required Education

* High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Position fills in for late shifts (only), weekends, and holidays
