Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and efficient data pipelines that support our business needs. As a key member of our data engineering team, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions that drive business growth and improve user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using various technologies such as Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink, and Kafka

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that meets arenaflex's coding standards and best practices
• Work with data governance teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to the improvement of our data engineering practices
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering and architecture
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth and development of our data engineering team

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and architecture
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or Scala)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data problems and develop creative solutions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data engineering and architecture
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of data security and compliance principles, with experience in implementing data encryption, access control, and auditing mechanisms
