Job Description Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, answering inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner. Your primary duties will include:

  • Providing Service to Patients: Respond to patient inquiries, address concerns, and provide solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Excellent Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders, using clear and concise language.
  • ETM Software Operation: Learn and understand the operation of our ETM software, ensuring seamless integration with our billing and account operations.
  • Billing and Account Operations: Learn and understand our billing and account operations, including research and resolution of patient billing issues.
  • Documenting Inquiries: Accurately document all telephone inquiries, ensuring that patient information is up-to-date and secure.
  • Research and Resolution: Research and resolve problems with patient bills, updating insurance coverage as needed.
  • Printing and Rebilling: Print courtesy claims and itemized statements, and rebill accounts after receiving insurance information.
  • Financial Agreements: Arrange financial agreements with patients using budget plans as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties and assignments as requested by management.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Microsoft Windows Environment: Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows environment is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (oral and written) are required, as well as the ability to speak, listen, and type simultaneously.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish: Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
