Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist – Sports Information and Data Analysis

Job Summary
As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of sports information and data across our various platforms. This includes working with automated data feeds and manual data entry to ensure the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information. You'll also play a key role in transforming data into compelling stories and narratives, using your analytical skills to identify key trends and insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of sports information and data across our various platforms
- Work with automated data feeds and manual data entry to ensure the delivery of precise, up-to-date, and engaging sports information
- Create and maintain a working knowledge of arenaflex's role in fueling our digital products and television productions
- Conduct thorough reviews of your own work and that of others, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives across the newsroom, working closely with newsroom leaders to drive innovation and growth
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions, communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to drive results
- Play an active role in team and office meetings, seeking feedback and input to drive continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with current office policies and procedures, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive success
Required Capabilities
* Working knowledge of sports teams, players, and game rules
- Full-time availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and systems, applying your analytical skills to drive results
- Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production environments
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and stakeholders
Preferred Capabilities
* 1+ years of experience in sports or data analysis, ideally in a media or entertainment company
- Knowledge of how sports data is used in media and research contexts
- Working knowledge of arenaflex's products and productions
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Experience leading or training a team
- Ability to speak and write Spanish
- Experience using social media in a business or news context
Education
* High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
