Key Responsibilities

As a Database Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Investigating and resolving normal database issues, including performing calamity recovery tasks
• Performing routine database support tasks, such as file maintenance, backups (full, differential, and log backups), and SQL job scheduling
• Maintaining and updating our database with accurate and timely information related to UPS shipments and deliveries
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement database optimization opportunities
• Developing and implementing database estimating and execution tuning practices
• Providing exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with stakeholders

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 4 years of experience in database analysis and management
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database management systems
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experience would be a plus:

• Experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS SQL services
• Ability to develop PowerShell scripts
• Experience with SQL AOG and database mirroring
• Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
