So join our Investment Management Operations team and feel proud of the work you’re part of.About Your TeamPortfolio Service Group, Fixed Income (PSG FI), is a London based team within the Investment Management Operations. The team works closely with other PSG teams and Fixed Income Investment Professionals in London, Hong Kong and Toronto.About Your RoleThe Fixed Income portfolio managers and the global trading capability are supported by teams of PSG FI Analysts in London, Hong Kong and Toronto. The function improves capacity of the portfolio managers and increases the control, scale, efficiency and consistency of the investment process. The team actively contributes and implements ideas for improving and re-designing the investment process and trade flows, and often represents the Fixed Income Investment Management function to other areas of the business.Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of investment decisions – generate orders for multiple funds across various types of bonds, derivatives and FX, taking into account cash, investment guidelines, benchmarks and fund sizes
- Monitor and resolve pre-trade compliance alerts
- Cash Management – monitoring cash positions and cash flows
- Monitor portfolio exposures and consistency of strategy across portfolios
- Data reconciliation and validation
- Assist with and guide fund transitions/launches/closures
- Represent the Fixed Income team on projects and initiatives
- General support for ad hoc queries
- Participation in IT infrastructure programmes as subject matter expert for the PSG FI function
- Ability to work accurately in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate at all levels, particularly with Portfolio Managers and other Investment Professionals
- Ability to work in a small functional team, as part of the broader Fixed Income team, and with colleagues globally
- Ability to represent the team and department as a technical specialist
- Ability to analyse processes and implement improvements
- Numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Ideally IMC or CFA level 1
- DBS Check required for all SMCR roles
- A recorded line is required for roles in-scope of SMCR or K&C
