Group Stage QMO: Ensuring Quality and Excellence

The Quality Administration Office (QMO) is responsible for ensuring the quality of applications used by our teams, including airline stewards and pilots. As a vital member of this team, you'll work closely with Case's (Scrum Expert, Engineer, Item Proprietors) to test and validate applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Your role will be critical in identifying and resolving issues that could impact flight operations and customer satisfaction.

Client and Business: Driving Innovation and Growth

The Southwest Get-aways (SWAV) group is at the forefront of creating new, revenue-generating products and services for arenaflex beyond its core air product. As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the air business and the travel industry as a whole, working closely with business clients to identify and develop innovative solutions.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As an Innovation Investigator Understudy, your responsibilities and expectations may include:

• Working with business clients to conduct requirements analysis and provide quality technical solutions
• Ensuring solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business processes, and departmental guidelines
• Managing project timelines for planning, coding, testing, and execution to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
• Acting as a resource to facilitate effective communication between business and Innovation groups
• Participating in framework and acceptance testing
• Extent of work may vary depending on group projects

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Essential knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement
• Essential knowledge of technical environments
• Openness to Agile methodologies
• Essential understanding of project management procedures
• Critical thinking and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
• Past investigator internship experience within the past year
• Experience resolving business issues in a capstone or case competition
• Ability to work in a culture that is open, direct, respectful, empathetic, and collaborative
