We are seeking a Strategic Program Manager (SPM) to manage customer-specific programs and ensure the successful implementation and execution of key initiatives.
This role will focus on collaborate with Sales Team and Product Management Team to create and execute sales enablement programs, analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities.

What can you expect to do?
Performance Delivery: Consistently deliver on monthly and quarterly sales and inventory metrics.
Brand Representation: Represent and communicate Velocity's culture, values, and value proposition.
Customer Solutions: Provide immediate and reliable solutions to customer needs.
Data & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all sales data, including contracts, quotations, rebates, and customer interactions, while annotating all customer touches in Velocity's ERP system.
Contract & VMI Management: Ensure strict program management of all VMI customer contracts utilizing Velocity's ERP system, when required.
Order Oversight: Oversee open order reports daily to ensure on-time deliveries.
Inventory Management: Maintain appropriate and agreed inventory levels and manage aged inventory.
Escalation Management: Manage customer escalations and involve Velocity personnel as required.
Shortage Resolution: Identify and close shortage requirements.
Supplier Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with specific suppliers.
What is the experience and knowledge needed to be successful in this role?
4-year college degree in a sales related field.
5-8+ years sales experience and/or sales program management
Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, account management, CRM.
Substantial product knowledge.
